Anavar Abuse-Side Effects Of Oxandrolone Overdosing

In the last few years, there have been a lot of debates whether anabolic androgenic steroids such as Anavar should be allowed to be used in professional sports. While elite athletes like Lance Armstrong, Alex Rodriguez, Asafa Powell, and Asli Cakir Alptekin admitting or being accused of using banned performance enhancing drugs, a big number of amateur and professional athletes are still using these drugs.

It is worthwhile to note that anabolic androgenic steroids like Anavar (also known as Oxandrolone and AnVar) are used for different purposes by different athletes. While some use these drugs to cut down body fat, go lean, and add muscle mass and body strength, others use for testosterone replacement therapy under medical supervision.

In this piece of information, we would be focusing on Anavar, a drug medically recommended throughout the world for treating severe health complications but also used by athletes to cut down body weight & fat at the same time while gaining body strength and muscle mass.

Anavar is prescribed medically to treat health conditions such as muscle wasting, AIDS, alcoholic hepatitis, anemia, and Turner syndrome. However, some buy Anavar without a medical prescription and overdose on this potent drug for quick and dramatic results. Many of these people even purchase Anavar cheap from steroid pharmacies, which are often associated with the sale of sub-standard anabolic steroids and performance enhancing drugs. These are the times when the chances of Anavar use turning into Anavar abuse get increased significantly.

Anavar (when overdosed, abused, or of a low grade) can lead to side effects such as oily skin, stomach cramps, nausea, bloating, testicular atrophy, diarrhea, and mood swings. Anavar overdosing or abuse can also be associated with menstrual irregularities, depression, libido changes, vomiting, nausea, acne, and dark urine or inhibition of the metabolism of oral hypoglycemic agents, liver failure, liver cysts, and liver tumors in rare cases.

It is very important to note here that Anavar is not advised to children, breastfeeding or pregnant women, or those diagnosed with Nephrotic syndrome, kidney disease, neoplasm of liver, changes involving fatty deposits in the blood vessels, low HDL cholesterol, enlarged prostate, liver problems, or visible water retention. It is also not advised to those suffering from microscopic blood-filled cavities in the liver, disease of the arteries of the heart, heart failure.

Indiscriminate use of Anavar over extended periods of time can cause depression, hallucination, dizziness, stunted growth, male pattern baldness, reduced sex drive, testicle shrinking, clitoris enlargement, growth of facial hair, and increased aggression. Moreover, people with high amount of calcium in the blood, blood clotting disorder, liver inflammation with stoppage of bile flow, prostate cancer, and males with breast cancer should avoid using Anavar unless otherwise specifically approved by a medical practitioner after complete and careful evaluation of medical reports and history. Abuse of this weight loss drug may even be a reason behind side effects like hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism or sudden reductions in terms of serum concentrations of LH (luteinizing hormone), FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), and testosterone levels. It may also lead to premature skeletal maturation and liver damage or increased levels of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and decreased levels of HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol).
